Where Our Story Begins


In the stillness of observation, direction reveals itself.

PC Yuen, founder of SKYEYE, has spent more than three decades cultivating the study and practice of Feng Shui, I Ching, and spiritual philosophy. Through years of using traditional luopan as a geomancy consultant, he came to sense its subtle imperfections — the instability of materials, the limits of magnetic alignment, the sensitivity to external forces.

Informed by his professional background in computer science and electronic product design, he was inspired by a simple yet profound question:
What if direction could be written in light?







 In 2009, that question became a quest.

Pui Chi began a meticulous deconstruction of the classical luopan, examining every component through the lens of scientific rigor and artisanal care.
Wood and lacquer were reimagined in acrylic and metal.
The guidance of magnetism gave way to the unwavering line of laser light.

Through years of refinement, experimentation, and hand assembly, the world’s first laser luopan was born — a new instrument, a bridge between heritage and innovation, craft and precision, technology and aesthetic.
                                                                                                                   




SKYEYE is a design house dedicated to bridging ancient geomancy with contemporary innovation.
Its luopan unites scientific invention with the quiet discipline of craftsmanship, shaped by decades of study in Feng Shui and informed by founder P.C. Yuen’s background as an electronic product designer.
Through continuous research and refinement, SKYEYE has reimagined the traditional luopan by integrating laser light within its structure.
Its design evolves through the study and testing of material, calibration, and scale, with precision grounded in every component of the instrument—achieving a synthesis of function, stability, and refined aesthetics.

Individually composed and precisely calibrated, each piece embodies enduring quality and accuracy, offering a moment of alignment between the hand, the instrument, and the world it measures.
